WiCarolina Sells 8 Franchises in First Full Week of Operations.

WiCarolina Communications, LLC. announced today they have sold 8 franchises in rural areas of South Carolina during the first week of operations. The total value of these franchises is $1.2 million dollars. According to WiCarolina, they are currently finalizing an additional 10 franchise opportunities with a value of $1.5 million. WiCarolina plans to open its Walterboro franchise on February 12, 2007. WiCarolina has leased the old First National Bank of Orangeburg building at 319 N. Lucas Street in downtown Walterboro. All franchises should be closed by the end of this week according to WiCarolina management. Total value of all franchise sales during January 2007 will be $2.7 million dollars.

WiCarolina Communications has completed testing and evaluating our infrastructure. We begin offering Internet & Telephone Services to Business and Residential customers on Monday January 8th, 2007.
